Long time, no post

Yeah, yeah... What's going on with the blog? When are you going to post? I've been getting a little lazy and it's so frustrating to post after a losing session. Funny how quickly things show up when all is well.

The BR is terribly low and my MTT play has been very poor. I've now played about 8 of those 70 FPP sit-n-go's where winner gets a seat in the 100k. Out of these 8 I have taken first 4 times. That's 50%, not bad! The other 4 times were 2 3rds, a second and a 8th place finish. It sucks when you make the top 3 consistently, but have to place first in order to get anything. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my single table sit-n-go play.

This amounted to about $44 worth of tournament money. I never played the 100k and elected to unregister for this tournament and use the tournament dollars elsewhere. Now my MTT play has been horrible. Last month, I was ITM about every other tournament. Even though I only had a few final tables, this consistent cash would keep me funded. Out of all these tournaments I was only able to make minimal cashes. Saturday night I went deep in the $1 limit Omaha H/L tournament. Then I busted in 15th place out of 500+ after 4.5 hours for a whopping cash of around $4. I played the tournament well and was in the top 10 for the majority of the last two hours only to get sucked out on the river with 20 people left and lose 80% of my stash to a 2 outer. *SIGH*

On Sunday I decided to try some $1 single table sit-n-go's since I seemed to be doing alright in those types of tournaments. First table, make a score of 3rd place for $1.80. Not much, but a cash and positive cash flow. Let's do it again... and again... and again. My success must be gone as I failed to cash in another sit-n-go after the first one.

With only $0.75 left in my account there was only one thing to do. I buy into the first .04/.08 limit ring game that I can find. After an hour of grinding it out in the micro stakes I cash out a $2 profit. Yes boys and girls, that's about $1/hour. Now with about $2.75 in the bank I move the stakes up to .05/.10 limit games and cash out an additional $2.50 putting the BR at just over $5. I play the $1 7:00PM HORSE tournament to where I exit in quick donkey fashion and another limit .05/.10 ring game. After all was said and done the BR stands at about $5. Can I build it again? If I have the patience yes, otherwise I may just fund this thing and get into bigger games.

Bankroll Total: approximately $5.00
